The piano is jumping, brass is blistering, and hands are clapping on the Arkells’ latest romp “Swing Swing Swing.”
A gospel-touched, alt-pop piece taken from their upcoming Blink Once [out 9.22], the new cut is a lively reminder of the emotional range music can span. Speaking on the track, frontman Max Kerman says
My favourite songs have three key ingredients: they make you wanna 1) sing and 2) dance and 3) have a cry all at once. Hopefully each *Swing* in this song can do that for you.
They are three for three as far as DH is concerned.
