Well the unofficial start of Summer is finally here, but I’m currently stuck inside a 5×5 cube of perpetual gloom otherwise known as the office. I can see what appears to be a blue sky through the tiny vertical strip of a window I’ve been so graciously offered. Fear not though; in another seven hours or so I’ll be escaping the clutches of this soul drain for the sun soaked Eastern Shore.

Accompanying me on the journey will be my trusty sidekick, the iPod Classic. He’s never steered me wrong and today will be no different because new to the rotation is “Lost You,” a collaborative effort between two established hit makers in Zeds Dead & Twin Shadow and one newcomer to the game, D’Angelo Lacy. Brimming with soulful vocals, this bouncy house track sets the mood early and doesn’t let up. Be sure to add this to any Memorial Day mix; you won’t be disappointed.
