We’re about a week and a half out until Detroit’s Spike DuBose drops his debut mixtape The Cherrylawn Ave. EP. After previews “Issey” and “Rollin“, the MC offers up “Ike Turner”, a bass heavy trap single. With minimal yet gripping production from cohort Slap Nevada, the track takes a few beats before going hard [just like its namesake] when that percussion kicks into overdrive.
