Last week Azealia Banks finally dropped her long awaited / much anticipated debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. It’s a 16 track experiment in digital surrealism, featuring a wide range of styles and production techniques; the standout for me being the electro-house groover “Soda”.
The 23 year old comes fresh, not wasting a single second of track amidst an effectual flow and a quick hitting beat. It’s just too bad it’s over before the four minute mark, but that’s why they invented the repeat button. BWET is available for consumption right now.
