Perplexed by Snoop Dogg and friends’ “Ain’t No Fun,” the unlikely funk duo of Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One also known as Tuxedo set out and made their own in “Number One.”

With a sound suited for decades long passed, the two thirty somethings have put together an authentic likeness of a smooth jam that could have easily inspired the raunchy hit. Not gonna lie, it almost fooled me on first listen.
