Taking to Twitter to announce his latest Adventure single “Home,” Madeon explains that the soaring, synth-heavy track is about how a grueling 24 hour studio session the young French wunderkind throws himself into once a year [completing two to three mastered songs each time] left him exposed and ready to swear off music all together.

Lucky for fans he pressed on, laying down his own vocals for an unexpected change, pointing out that it would be weird for any other artist to convey the deeply personal thoughts. And while he may not see himself as a singer, it’s those genuine, unshakable tones that stand out on the anthemic “Home” and make it one of his most sincere tracks to date.
