As a gift to fans, Weezer have shared the brand new single “Everybody Needs Salvation,” available in the form of a 7-inch release to loyal devotees through the band’s official fan club.
In what sounds like something left on last year’s Everything Will Be Alright In The End cutting room floor, the new cut does well in echoing that album’s heavier tones and harder edges. Is this a sign of more to follow or just a one-off surprise? Either way, I’ll always welcome new Weezer.
