Alright Mr Demille, former Glee-k, now budding popstar Alex Newell is ready for his close-up. After being the featured artist on some of last year’s dopest tunes [collaborations with Blonde, Clean Bandit, and The Knocks to name a few], the chic and sassy 23-year-old with pipes for days is set to drop his debut EP POWER next month.

Up first is lead preview “This Ain’t Over,” a generous helping of holistic house with a side of 90’s pop vibes strewn throughout. A cautionary tale to an apparent ex, Newell’s vulnerable but tenacious vocals soar across the defiant hook and club-ready rhythms. Word to the wise, do not to cross this cat for fear of ending up the ire of a savage dancefloor anthem.
