After a perusing of my always entertaining SoundCloud feed yesterday I stumbled across a funky little pop cut, “Out of My League,” and after a listen I found myself pondering who or what is a WDSTCK? Well it turns out they’re a poppy electronica trio from Norway and my newest fave du jour.
“Out of My League” is upfront from the go, these guys are infinitely awesome and there’s nothing they can’t achieve. But it’s the lighthearted way it comes across that makes this cut so special. Talk of buying and then stranding pet monkeys in Germany and doing drugs with a guy named Lance is just some of the comical content paraded over equally rollicking rhythms, making this a fun listen all around.
