Terence Jack – Eastern Rise

Our friendly neighbor to the north is quietly turning out another indie gem; this time in the form of Vancouver’s own Terence Jack. After 2014’s folk foray Reckless Abandon, the young singer-songwriter is set to release his indie-rock EP Never Get Back, ushered in by lead single “Eastern Rise.”

Anchored by a staccato piano line, the four minute cut criss-crosses lofty riffs with an understated melody to produce a classic yet current sound. One that you won’t soon let slip from memory. And for those Canadian readers out there you can find Terence on his coast-to-coast, Never Get Back Tour kicking off tomorrow night at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver. Other dates listed below:
