Conrad Sewell has had quite the exciting rise, hasn’t he? And the Australian has shown no signs of slowing down since he burst onto the scene as writer and featured vocalist on Kygo’s mammoth hit “Firestone.” Fast forward a year and some change, plus a string of accolades for debut EP All I Know, and we find the soloist riding high the fruits of his latest single, “Remind Me.”

Enter Steve James, the young hitmaker having caught his own fire co-writing the title track to Justin Bieber’s Purpose, who takes on Conrad’s current offering and revamps it as a certified sunny season viber. Adding a summery touch, the teenage DJ veers the straight ballad into so-hot-right-now, trop-lite territory with warming snyth layers and bounce-laden grooves. But it’s the masterful way he plays up Sewell’s swelling vocals that really stays with you after a listen…or five.
