It’s been seven long years since ass-kicking actress Juliette Lewis released her solo debut Terra Incognita, so her return to music-making comes as a welcomed surprise.

Premiered earlier today over at Nylon, “Hello Hero” is a funky pop groover that kicks up the fun. Co-written and co-produced by Florence Welch’s right hand woman Isabella “Machine” Summers, the cut weaves dynamic licks with Lewis’ melodic storytelling for a rousing morsel of charm.
