For me, it doesn’t get much better than Hayley Williams belting one out. She could sing the dictionary and I’d be happy. So I was quite content to learn a song she’s only performed live was seeing its proper studio release. Last October in Nashville, Scottish synth-poppers CHVRCHΞS brought the Paramore frontwoman on stage to sing their Every Open Eye cut “Bury It” to rave reviews. Now it’s been mastered and dubbed a remix single.
And it works. While the composition of the original remains the same, Williams’ soars as she takes over solo duties on the second verse and provides able-auraled back up for the encouraging chorus. Stream the newly minted version below:
