After a four year hiatus, cocksure crooner Bruno Mars is back and more bold than ever with the announcement of “24K Magic,” both a new album and its self-titled lead single. The long-awaited new cut is characterized as an “invitation to the party,” a spot on description with it’s flashy pop sensibilities and irrepressibly funky groove. Four or five spins later and I’m still not done.
