UK singer-songwriter Saint Raymond has outdone himself on new single “We Are Fire,” follow up to A Light That Blinds lead release “Nightcrawling.” The indie spirit of its predecessor is alive and well, but an overwhelming and anthemic current of excitement runs deep in this latest offering, setting it apart from the normal pop fare.

Speaking on the track, SR relays:

I wrote this song in the midst of touring and festivals madness. ‘We Are Fire’ is an energetic song and I think it epitomises the emotions of the highs and lows and the whole rollercoaster ride I was on at the time with life and music.

That energy courses through the cut thanks to audacious riffs, a protracted percussive run, and an instantly satisfying chorus. By my count he’s two for two in as many tries this year.
