It is entirely too early for Christmas music. In an ideal world, the Friday after Thanksgiving would be pegged as the official start of the season. But like with other rules, there are always exceptions.

This year that distinction belongs to Sia and her latest “Santa’s Coming For Us.” The first single off her upcoming album Everyday Is Christmas is an uptempo celebration of holiday cheer. And with all the bells and brass you’d expect this season, maybe this new cut signals a welcomed start to the protracted Christmastime binge after all.
