After years of discouraging to and fro in their music-making endeavors, Belgian duo Float Fall are back on the scene with melodic vengeance. Their latest, “Hard Time Loving You,” is the fruit of five years spent in “development hell,” and I can gladly say it was worth the wait.

Affective electroni-pop through and through, the emotion spills onto the track with a groove that grips, synths that stir, and harmonies that hearken back to shared struggles. The two, collected and confident, have charted themselves a new vision, one that can not be overlooked now.
