Taken from the Vancouver soloist’s newly released album Benevolence, “Someone To Keep You Warm” is an alt-dance anthem for the wallflowers among us. Wrapped up in penetrating electronic production, the cut compels cautious ears to groove with its heavy synths and persuasive percussion. But it’s the not-so-serious style of Ms. Maillot that sticks strongest.
