As far as debut singles go, the three friends that make up Midnight At 7 eschew the growing pains to find a polished sound longtime acts only dream of on “Never Be In Love Again.”

An R&B-dashed pop selection, the choice cut tickles the senses with a calming piano-line and steadied percussion before lush verse and hook, particularly the soothing falsetto of frontman Ryan de Ocampo, center the sonic moment. It’s a feat many dream of but only few realize.
