Apace with the announcement of new EP Higher Than The Sun [out Feb. 1], dance-pop creative Rose Gray gets a little moody on new cut “Sun Comes Up.”

Veering more angsty than dancy, the release still bumps with towering keys, poignant strings, and a thumping breakbeat. Talking up the process, she shares:

It’s a side of what I do which I’m excited to showcase on this EP. I wrote this on an emo day. I can’t always be banging out 130bmp+s – sometimes I’m just sad.
