Saving the best for last, Dempsey Bolton is winding down his sophomore album rollout [dropping this July] with the release of final preview “Arizona.”

The alt-indie offering is an upbeat bop, punctuated by big, percussive moments and a tenacious bassline; all in the service of a nostalgia-minded melody. Reflecting on his former youth, the hit-maker shares:

One day I had the realization that I’d taken my early adult years for granted. My worries just seemed to be getting more and more serious as I got older and in reflecting on a trip to Arizona I’d gone on, it dawned on me how special those days were.

Special days make for special sounds it seems.
