Kansas City’s own The Greeting Committee are exploring the anxieties surrounding success on their latest cut, the dance-minded “popmoneyhits.”

Subtle synths set the scene before a sanguine bounce picks up and Addie Sartino’s vulnerabilities begin to materialize. From there it’s an exuberant exposition of beat and bearing, all in the name of personal authenticity. Elaborating on the message, the band explains:

‘I want everything and nothing all at once’ circles throughout the choruses, reminding us that there’s always a choice to be made, and with a price.
