Channel Tres ft. Ty Dolla $ign – Holy Moly

It’s hard to fathom, since the ambitious producer+rapper has been turning out top tunes for what seems like an entire career now [six EPs in the last six years], but Channel Tres finally releases a proper debut album and it’s a fuggin’ doozy of a project.

Head Rush is a 17 track love affair with living, but one cut clears them all.

“Holy Moly,” an acute blend of bass and braggadocio, is simple in its delivery but thorough in its reception. A subtle bounce, pristine and polished, serves as soundscape for Tres to employ his confident flow while featured friend Ty Dolla $ign adds a flair only he can bring.

Less is so much more and a true testament to Tres’ continued music-making prowess.
