Timmy Skelly – Breckenridge Lane

After simply wowing with his debut single “Come On Diana,” Timmy Skelly follows that up with the equally emotive and indelible “Breckenridge Lane.”

A stirring ode to the creative’s small-town upbringing in Sandwich, Illinois, the alt-Americana cut is rich in nostalgic fervor and sonic substance. Striking and demonstrative strings set the tone before a steadying pace picks up and Skelly lays down his heartfelt remembrances of simpler times. You can’t help but hear the solemnity in each line, clearly coming from a place of true earnestness.

Put in his own words:

I wanted to capture the yellow haze of rural summer drives, the butterflies in your stomach feeling of taking risks for a midnight kiss, sneaking beers into the tackle box and smelling like a fire pit for weeks…We sincerely hope you enjoy the ride.

It’s no fluke. His talent is here to stay.
