Sam Palladio – Tears in the Carpark

Acclaimed singer+songwriter Sam Palladio releases brand new single “Tears in the Carpark” as he shepherds in a sweeping new album The Perfect Summer’s Day, Before We Lost The Light [out now] to boot.

Taken from the 11 track long player, the alt-pop piece channels an 80’s aesthetic as it maneuvers through its poppin’ groove and sets eager ears on a cathartic journey. Speaking on the new tune, the creative shares:

[This] is a song about finding a safe place to feel all our feelings. For me, sitting in the car and having a good cry is pretty universally relatable, whether it’s having a breakup on the phone, or taking some time to mourn the loss of a friend or family member, the car park is a space where I feel a lot of us have dealt with these challenges. Sitting in my car has always been a sanctuary to take that private time I need.

Let this listen move you, in more ways than one.
