Powerhouse five-set flipturn have announced new album Burnout Days [out Jan. 24] alongside the release of their serendipitous listen “Juno.”
Conceived after a chance accident involving a Juno synthesizer, the alt-pop anthem chronicles the band’s adventures criss-crossing the country in their beloved tour bus Peggy. Throbbing synths and sumptuous textures tell the story of five friends making memories and mistakes in pursuit of their music-making passion. The band puts it:
A lot of our family and friends for years would assume that the rockstar lifestyle was how they saw it in movies or pop culture but in reality it is a much different experience. It truly is an insane thing to do and you kinda have to be a little delusional to do it.
But when it’s done right? It sounds so good.
