First preview of their just-announced project Bunky Becky Birthday Boy [out Apr. 4], this effervescent opener bounds to life as a frenetic percussive bent butss against gnawing guitar riffs all in service of singer Alexis Krauss’ pulsing verse-and-hook. Diving a little deeper into their avant-garde approach, production half Derek Miller shares:

We wanted the track to sound like a dog having the best moment of her life without any of the burden of self consciousness.
