warner case, a name you need to know, is a rarity in the dance sphere these days. Dude has single-handedly produced, written, sung, mixed, and mastered his debut album love [sic] and will also be releasing via his label Top Right Records October 11. Today, DH happily shares the first fruits of his labor.
“let’s get down” is a moment of dance bliss as an unrelenting groove enthralls from the start only to be buoyed by the self-sufficient beat-crafter’s lamentations on the oscillation of love’s highs and lows. The cut also serves as an integral part of the album as a whole, providing sonic insight into the groundwork laid in completion of the project. He shares:
[This album] came from a decade of writing songs i didn’t know what to do with… they never “felt right” until one time when i realized my body had been subconsciously writing this album my whole life, one song at a time, one love at a time, one heartbreak at a time. my brain needed life experience to see what my body had known all along.
Taking it all in, the anticipation is only building.
