Post-hardcore rockers Dance Gavin Dance are switching it all the way up as they land legendary funk’r George Clinton for new tune “Space Cow Initiation Ritual.”

Appearing on next month’s Pantheon project [out Sept. 12], the collaboration connects two disparate styles in a most cohesive technique as rock edges coalesce around the silkier stylings of funk. The result is a cut rooted in smooth groove that still leans into the coarser sound of the California four-set. They share:
