Lindsay Ell – “magic”

Award winning singer-songwriter Lindsay Ell, having just wrapped the Shania Twain summer tour as lead guitarist, is taking center stage in her own stratum as she releases the anthemic-minded “magic.”

Taken from the upcoming fence sitter EP [out Oct. 24], this earnest pop ditty affirms the confidence of an artist ten years into a career and makes for a most heartfelt listen. A steady, pulsing rhythm mirrors the soloist’s perspective on perseverance while dulcet harmonies (ala Haim) echo the sincere sentiment that a breakthrough may just be waiting for you on the other side. She shares:

I always believed that if you apply yourself to something hard enough, you can make it happen. [This song] is a reminder to believe that you just need to keep going and you’ll find those moments of joy and accomplishment.

Relatable, vulnerable, and honest; you can’t help but take notice of this one.
