Having released their second consecutive #1 LP moisturizer a short few months ago, English alt-rockers Wet Leg continue the revelry with the official visuals for album standout “mangetout.”
A gritty and grungy affair, the video finds frontperson Rhian Teasdale, only recognizable by her silver shorts, living up to the cut’s “get lost forever” mantra as she avails herself across corn fields, beaches, and every scene in between. But the visuals reach their harrowing climax as our sonic heroine ditches the overgrown wig for some blood-soaked writhing and overall creepy aesthyeticery.
It’s the perfect use of uneasy energy to compliment such an unsettling track.
