Maude Latour – “Green Tea (Demo)”

All Things Go, the independent music festival born in DH’s backyard of Washington, D.C., is celebrating a decade doing their thing with a compilation project featuring artists past and present who have graced their stages. A few choice previews have already released ahead of the Nov. 7 drop, but “Green Tea (Demo)” from Maude Latour is rising to write-up status today.

The alt-pop bop, set in the wake of a bitter breakup, digs in with deliberate drumming patterns and a synthful assist in groove machination but it’s the NYC creative’s impassioned verse and hook you’re going to hang around for; her candor is both moving and memorable.

And all for a good cause too! The entirety of All Things Go: 10 Years’ proceeds will benefit The Ally Coalition, Jack and Rachel Antonoff’s program promoting the betterment of LGBTQ youth.
