Touching on transformation and the sacrifices that can come with it, the alt-post-punk piece is defined by a pulsating bassline, driving beats, and synth throbs that resonate in both mood and groove. Vocalist Adam Houghton speaks to the meaning behind the music:
I wanted to capture the feeling of being bound to someone who represents both your salvation and your undoing. It’s about how love can feel like duty — something you can’t walk away from even when it hurts.
