Boy Throb, comprised of pink-clad members Anthony, Evan, Zachary, and the Visa-challenged Darshan are the probably-fake boy band currently going viral for satirizing the entire industry. But their grooves? 100% genuine.
“Finger” is their smash debut and reason we’re here today. It’s got all the classic boy band elements, a fun bounce, three-part harmonies, and an ear-worm of a hook, but branded under the guise of humor and really magnified in the visuals accompanying the cut.
“Can’t Stop The Throb” is more traditional fare as the the boys break it down something smooth on their anthem of arrival. An easy, R&B-branded groove gently glides along as our four-set serenade with some serious swag and cement themselves as boys-to-watch.
For a maybe-fake act, they’ve released two bona-fide pop bops already. What’s next?
