SONS – “Surfin'”

Fresh off a 12-date, club tour in support of new album Hallo, Belgian four-set SONS release their quick-hittin’ rush of adrenaline “Surfin'”

Clocking in at just under two minutes, this anthemic-minded elucidation on the dizzying highs of new love packs a punch in its sonic swiftness. After opening with a serrated surf-guitar riff the cut snaps into a lean, muscular groove: elastic bass, dead-straight drums, no excess. Round that out with the dopamine hit of a hook and an unexpected piano break and this listen is one you won’t soon forget.
