Isle of Wight baddies ugly ozo have been readying the release of their new short-player dive with a couple of choice cuts, but they’ve hit the proverbial “jackpot” with their latest arrayal.
The pulsating, alt-indie track is a force of female fronted rock that accentuates their signature blend of raw vulnerability and electrifying hooks, even if a little cheeky at times. The catalyst behind this creative collective, Jessica Baker, explains:
[This song] is definitely the flirtiest track off the EP, with a strong sense of female empowerment and a healthy touch of innuendo. Itβs about wanting someone badly, while making them work for it- and not giving the game away too quickly.
That charge comes through clearly and concisely and only serves to elevate this listen.
