Canadian creative-set Arkells are achieving critical admiration with each Between Us preview ahead of its April 17 release date. The latest drop “What’s On Your Mind” is no different.

Featuring San Fran chill-wave’r Poolside, the subdued but dance-y, alt-pop bop is as cool as it is consuming. A synth-heavy lean into disco is the draw here but the unrelenting loop of the groove goes on to give this collaboration a hypnotic hue and sets eager ears up for a resonant listen.
