Ahhh, summer is nearly here. That means it’s almost time to brave the sweltering heat, get day drunk with good friends, and then enjoy local favorite O.A.R. at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

They’ve just released their Rockville LP and one of the standouts is “Favorite Song,” a classic love dedication expressed through a lifetime of cherished melodies. Seriously, try and count all the references.

Oh and since they never play my actual favorite song “Something Coming Over” live, I’ll happily settle with hearing this cut in it’s place July 19 [tickets still available]:
