It’s Monday already? Bump that noise. At least there’s new music to be heard as we start the dreaded work week.

I came across London five-piece Jakil after seeing them compared to my current faves The 1975. Naturally I had to give them a listen and I’m glad I did.  “Istanbul” is a breezy pop cut showcasing effortless harmonies and polished production. If this is any indication of what they’ve yet to share with the world, we’re in store for some great ear candy.
