Detroit’s WiseMindEnt stable, home to Digital High frequentersCj Warren & Starzyk, joins forces with the Brooklyn production outfit EFF.DOPE to offer up “Whassup”, a flashy collaboration between two promising hip-hop crews.

The cut sees the whole WME family jumping in and spitting your standard take-notice type verses, but I’m left wanting a little more. It could really benefit from that knockout-punch, drop the mic, ‘oomph’ factor.

But while not doing too much for me, it’s no doubt a decent enough slow burner for others. Listen for yourself and cop a free download:
