While he may not have won the Voice this season, third place finisher Chris Jamison has unquestionably walked away with the unconditional adoration of countless preteen girls, 40 something divorcées, and bulge enthusiasts nationwide.

Tonight’s write-up is devoted to the 20 year old’s original single, “Velvet,” debuted on Monday night’s penultimate Voice 2014 episode. Clearly influenced by coach Adam Levine’s suggestive pop sensibilities, the heartthrob-in-training turns out a steamy midtempo romp for the grown and sexy.

And with his raw machismo on full display and undeniable talent working squarely in his favor, it’s only a matter of time before we start recognizing the budding star from Western Pennsylvania and forget about some reality show setback.
