Well, 2015’s pop collabo everyone and their really hip grandmother were anticipating is finally here, but I have to say I’m a little underwhelmed. Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s summer anthem “Pretty Girls,” dubbed by some as “Fancy 2.0” [for obvious reasons], doesn’t come close to realizing it’s full potential given the parties involved. In what I’ll describe as only a moderately sized smash, the two heavyweights trade lukewarm verses over a beat you’d likely find on DJ Mustard’s cutting room floor. That said, it’s still a decently fun cut you’ll likely be hearing on repeat all summer long anyway!
