The year was 1996. I was a budding teenager, full of raging hormones and raging…musical appetites. And now I can’t be certain today’s throwback was my true sexual awakening, but it certainly had a thorough impact on this impressionable blogger.

I’m talking about “Put It In Your Mouth,” the all things perverse smash from Queens MC Akinyele and Atlanta singer Kia Jeffries. Off the EP of the same name, this underground hit put other more prominent mid 90’s displays of vulgarity to shame. Hell, even Snoop’s seminal grouplove groover “Ain’t No Fun” looks like ‘Ave Maria’ next to this raunch fest.

Now normally at this point in the post I’d reference a few choice lyrics, but even I have some decency standards. Just know that there’s a few overt mentions of the various lingis-es one can engage in.
