Can you feel it? It’s almost palpable. Of course I’m talking about the swelling anticipation for Drake’s Views From the 6 [now just Views], rumored to be released some time this month. Edging us closer to the drop, the Toronto wordsmith unleashed two new previews yesterday; the mammoth “Pop Style” featuring Kanye West and Jay-Z and “One Dance” aided by the lesser known features Wizkid and Kyla.

This might be heresy given the parties involved, but I find myself gravitating to the latter and it’s dancehall-tinged grooves. The cut picks up where the Rihanna and Drake collabo “Work” left off, capitalizing on subtle trop-rhythms and the UK house grooves of the original sample “Do You Mind.” Of course Drake does his thing too, spitting his tried and true flow over the unusually upbeat bars. Ya digging?
