Full disclosure, I only know Odd Mob as the Brisbane duo who so masterfully crafted the accompanying anthem to the Tom Haverford starter pack, “Is It A Banger?” So my interests naturally piqued when I came across their latest, the decidedly un-banger “Into You.”

Featuring the warming vocals of Australia’s Starley, the original mix wades into the calmer house waters, relying more on intricate grooves and pronounced melodies than the straight up LIT tunage they’re great at. And the tonal shift works in their favor as “Into You” takes you on a vibed-out journey one ear-tickling groove at a time.
