The Medicine Hat – New Survival

Known for their impartible moxie, The Medicine Hat are an experimental pop outfit hailing from the grateful streets of Hamilton, Ontario. Readying a self-titled album set for later this month, the five-piece have offered up a brand new taste with “New Survival.”

Characterized as “a mantra. A hymn I’m singing to keep my fears at bay” by frontwoman Nabi Sue Bersche, the cut deals in personal struggles set to an alt-rock intonation. Energizing guitar riffs blend effortlessly with a driving rhythm, but it’s Nabi’s hopeful vocal effort that brings this one home as a must listen.
