Who says MTV doesn’t play music anymore? Last week as I was catching up on the latest installment of the ‘so bad it’s just bad’ Scream, a very tender scene was amplified by the use of Scandinavian duo phlake’s “Angel Zoo.” The smooth R&B cut oozes an undeniable charm with its hypnotic rhythms and poignant vocals making for an engaging listen spin after spin. I just wish I didn’t have to rely on a laughably third-rate teen-drama to introduce me to good music. Stream “Angel Zoo” below and then check out the rest of their debut album Slush Hours out now:
