SoCal must be treating Calvin Harris something right these days because for his latest the Scottish hit-maker absorbs some of that classic West Coast hip-hop flavor.
Teaming up with Frank Ocean and Migos on “Slide,” a slight departure from his usual fare, Harris keeps it old-school with some slick mid-tempo grooves and signature piano-tinged bars on full display. They become the perfect compliment for Ocean’s sunny smooth vocals and laid back verses from Quavo and Offset.
A song tailor-made for cruising with the windows down, stream ‘Slide’ below and grab your own copy available now via Sony:
I think this might be one of his best singles to date! What do you think?
It’ll take a lot to top Thinking About You for me but I can see it growing on me
