It’s been a minute since Detroit’s CJ Warren has featured on these pages, but the up-and-coming MC is finally back with his booty poppin’ latest “Throw it Back.”

The first taste from new project Delray Conversations is a confirmed party cut, bumping and banging with fresh production from the EP’s namesake Dr. Delray and the young Mr. Warren. Incorporating the familiar iPhone message sound effect into the track’s deep bassline the two hit on a melodic quirk only to be bested by another impressive flow display.
