The musical curators of Noon Pacific have a strong track record when it comes to singling out choice cuts. So it’s not shocking that their latest release falls right in line.
“Through Your Fingers” from London’s Pace is a cautionary tale set to a melody ripe for the sunny season ahead. Urging the listener to act on a new love before the chance escapes, the trio bring that message home through an alt-pop lens of decades past. Smooth Motown-esque grooves and breezy brass components lift the track but it’s the underlying sentiment poured out in the vocal harmonies that carry it on.
